Yesterday I gathered all the funds and I posted 1030$ to Yari in Kermanshah. Soon I will update again with activities Yari is conducting for earthquake victims. Stay tuned.

No need to be excited. As well as the first days, your support is needed weeks, months and years after an earthquake. Red Cross and Red Crescent and rescue teams take care of urgent matters. Institutes like "Yari" support in long-term by constructions and children education. I kept teaching Astronomy for free in "Mehr", a boarding school for orphan girls built by Yari, until 7 years after Bam earthquake!

Yari is active in the region

Yari has been actively involved in the rescue and support in the disaster area since the first day.
At this moment all the foods and cloths posted to Yari is sorted in the parking lot of one of supporters and is being distributed in the remote villages.

Contribution methods

I will arrange quick transfer of full funds (with no fee or transfer cost thanks to my family) to Yari in Kermanshah once the target is met. If not, all funds will be transferred by the end of the month.

A sad return to this blog

Unfortunately I had to return to this blog and run another fundraising for another deadly earthquake. This time on the border of Iran-Iraq. 
I aim $2000 target, and will make sure a quick transfer to the right hands in the region and  will do my best to update here about further actions being done.
